In accordance with the Dutch Corporate Governance Code, AkzoNobel has announced the nominations for the upcoming Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company, to be held on Wednesday April 20, 2016: Re-appointment of Mr. Ton Büchner as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management Re-appointment of Mrs. Sari Baldauf as member of the Supervisory Board for a second four-year term Re-appointment of Mr. Ben Verwaayen as member of the Supervisory Board for a second four-year term In addition, the Supervisory Board of AkzoNobel will propose to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders: Appointment of Dr. Pamela Kirby for appointment to the Supervisory Board for a first four-year term. Biographies and other information in relation to these nominations will be published in the Notice of Meeting and on the Company’s website.
